Made from 100% British materials sourced from FSC®-approved providers, these premium softwood chips are both eco-friendly and sustainably produced. Designed to provide a safe and durable play surface, they have been rigorously tested to BS EN 1177:2008 (Impact Attenuating Playground Surfacing), ensuring excellent shock absorption in high impact areas such as beneath slides, swings, and climbing frames.

Completely natural and additive-free, these play chips contain no dyes or colouring, meaning they won’t stain clothing. They’re screened and processed to remove 98% of fines and particles below 5mm, leaving clean, uniform chips  with 90% of particles ranging from 5–30mm  for a smooth, even finish.

In addition to playgrounds, Gardoo Softwood Play Chips are ideal for garden borders and pathways, offering an attractive, low-maintenance, and versatile surface that blends naturally into any outdoor environment.

Free from methyl bromide, pathogens, pests, and weed seeds, and containing minimal whitewood (within 5% by volume), these chips deliver consistent performance and lasting quality.
While all practical measures are taken to remove foreign matter such as metal, glass, and plastic, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of all extraneous material. The total amount will not exceed 0.2% by weight.
