Made from 100% British materials sourced from FSC®-approved providers, these premium chips are composed of a minimum of 90% hardwood and a maximum of 10% softwood, ensuring strength, resilience, and sustainability. The product is screened and processed to remove 98% of fines and particles below 5mm, with 90% of remaining pieces ranging from 5–30mm.

Tested and certified to BS EN 1177:2008 (Impact Attenuating Playground Surfacing), Gardoo Hardwood Play Chips provide a safe, cushioned surface ideal for high impact areas such as beneath slides, swings, and climbing frames. The chips are undyed, meaning they contain no additives or colouring, so there’s no risk of staining clothes.

Free from methyl bromide, pathogens, pests, and weed seeds, and containing minimal whitewood (within 5% by volume), these chips are 100% natural, easy to maintain, and low maintenance once laid. They’re also ideal for garden borders and walkways, offering a neat, natural appearance that lasts season after season.

While all practical measures are taken to remove foreign matter such as metal, glass, and plastic, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of all extraneous material. The total amount will not exceed 0.2% by weight.
